Island Water World is a Caribbean retailer and distributor of marine merchandise.

Our Mission: We strive to offer the best value to our customers by providing a broad choice of high quality marine products, in stock and competitively priced backed by knowledgeable and superior customer service in conveniently located pleasant shopping environments.

The company employs in excess of 80 people, 70 of whom are dedicated to the retail/wholesale business. We now have nearly 20,000 sq ft devoted to retail space and more than half that again for warehousing - we are continually expanding our warehouse facilities to better facilitate our off-island distribution and in St. Maarten we will be doubling our capacity in 2007.

We have an ethos here at Island Water World, and all our staff believe in it, it is the foundation upon which we strive to succeed - “Based on Knowledge, Built on Value”.

What this means is that we listen and learn from our Customers, we listen and learn from our suppliers, we attend marine symposiums, we travel to world trade shows and we source worldwide what we believe to be the right products for our Customer. Than we start again, continuously listening to our Customers buying new products, suggesting enhancements to manufacturers, dropping those lines that fail to live up to customer expectations and the environment in which we trade. By this continual loop in the distribution chain we strive to meet our Customers expectations.

Our product range includes the tried and tested and the new and innovative, in fact we carry over 25,000 different items, not all of which are represented in our online and print catalogues.

We aim to provide our customers with a wide choice of quality products; in stock and priced right. In addition we offer friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, pleasant shopping environments and, we stand behind our products. We seek value in our dealings with manufacturers and suppliers and believe that our Customers have the right to demand VALUE from us.

We are mindful however that there will be times that we don’t have that particular or peculiar item but we will strive to source and deliver it provided we can do so and still meet our customers expectation of value.

Island Water World currently has  six retail locations, one in St Thomas, two in Sint Maarten, one in St. Lucia and two in Grenada - all are accessible from the water. As we grow we plan to locate more retail outlets in areas convenient to sailors and where we can deliver all the elements of Value our Customers have come to expect from us. Where we believe we are unable to provide this service we support existing Chandlers and Marine Stores through our wholesale programs.
