ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Piston-like strong arm which pushes tab into position. Hydraulic fluid flows into the actuator through a concealed hole in the upper hinge, eliminating external hoses subject to damage by the elements. Actuator is flexible but hearty enough to withstand the rigors of offshore use.
