Liquid Rubber for Re -skinning in flatable Boats LIQUID RUBBER is pure EDPM rubber in liquid form that cures to form a seamless, leak-proof membrane. If your boat has lost some of its outer skin, even if the fabric is showing, LIQUID RUBBER will repair it. Use LIQUID RUBBER to reinforce those heavy wear spots BEFORE they wear through, or even put a NEW BOTTOM on your boat. How It Works Sand (abrade) the area to be treated. Mix the LIQUID RUBBER with its catalyst, apply it, and allow it to cure. The LIQUID RUBBER will flow to form a smooth satin finished area of pure rubber. Available in white only. 1 Quart will renew the bottom of a 10, foot boat with a coating of pure rubber 5-7 mils thick. The original skin of most inflatable boats is approx. 5-6 mils thick. LIQUID RUBBER is thinned with XYLENE, available at all Island Water World stores. Clean up is with XYLENE.
