Spreco has developed extremely low-noise rotor blades made by using high-tensile carbon fibers laminated by hand with epoxy-resin, the blades are extremely stiff. Normal blades deform and break in very high wind, and so wind power generators are usually made with limiters in the charge controller to set maximum rotation and maximum blade stress levels, either automatically or manually.
