Warranty and Returns
Island Water World stands behind the quality and value of everything we sell. Your satisfaction with our products is of the utmost importance to us. We encourage you to fully open and inspect your purchase upon receipt. In the event that visible damage occurs in transit, we ask that you contact the freight carrier immediately.

Warranty
All our products carry the manufactures warranty. In certain circumstances the manufacturer may require that the item be returned for inspection and repair sometimes to us, sometimes to them. We will advise you in this matter. In these instances whether you receive a new item or the repaired item is a decision of the manufacturer. In the case of customer abuse, repair and freight charges will be for your account. All batteries will be warranted for one year pro rated by the month.

Return
You can return an item for a refund or exchange within 14 days of receipt. After 14 days, merchandise credit can only be issued. After 30 days, a request for a refund or credit will be denied.

Conditions of return
The item must be unused and in it’s original package with all it’s original content. It must be in brand new resellable condition. You are responsible for freight back to Island Water World Sint Maarten and this must be prepaid. Please note that freight charges are not refundable.

Restocking fee
If you are returning a non-defective product that has been opened, you will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Until you are sure you will keep the product, please do not open or remove any packaging. Island Water World unfortunately can’t accept returns of non-stocked special order goods.

Exchange
When you apply for exchange of defective goods, we offer to replace the product with the same one or with another product of the same equal value. We only offer another product when we are out of stock and we can’t replace it with the same product. At this time we will contact you for confirmation.

Website credit
Island Water World also offers their customers website credit for merchandise returns. The customer receives a credit for the amount of their purchase, less the shipping costs.

Warranty on items not bought at Island Water World
Although Island Water World can only start a warranty procedure for items bought at Island Water World, in exceptional cases, and only after consultation with the manufacturer, Island Water World can deal with warranty claims of items not bought at one of the Island Water World stores. In these cases, however fees will apply (administration, testing and freight fees). Minimum fee is $25.00 per returned item.
